Good mix of questions' levels. The problem is the one I mentioned a while ago. You need to look beyond your story to larger dynamics in action. Nothing in history happens in a vacuum. What are the larger causes and impacts? What are the economic, political, and social forces here? WHere is my favorite "guilded age" question? What about impact of industries? What drives these men and how does society support these needs?
